MD Mart began trading in 2001, making sandwiches and supplying them to independent retail stores on the south coast of England.
As our customers asked for more, we grew with them. Chilled foods, dairy, meat and poultry, cakes and confectionery, juices, smoothies and soft drinks all joined the range, and we became one of the UK’s largest wholesalers, importers and distributors to independent retail stores.
Today we supply shops right across the country with our own fleet of 45 vans, and more than 200 temperature-controlled independent van wholesalers buy from us.
